01 Deinterlacing old footage In DavInici Resolve & StaxRip
In this short series of videos I will go through my process for taking old Hi8 footage and changing it to be used in a new HD project. In the first part I am looking at de-interlacing the video and the best options for this.
In Part 2 I will look at how I upscale the video using Topaz Video Enhance AI.
Part 3 will show how I prepare the clips and export just the sections used on the timeline - useful for this proceedure or any other where you need to export just the sections being used.
Part 4 will look at fixing drop outs and some of Resolve's other video processing tools.
