The 2017 TAS was resynched from Bizhawk 2.2 to Bizhawk 2.9.1, then changes and improvements have been implemented. The new TAS has slightly more transition lag and adds a BIOS screen, but it improves gameplay by 47 frames.
Act 12 saves 23 frames, but 10 frames are lost because an additional star was collected which extends the score tallying screen. The time loss was visualized in 6:26.
