Nissan Pathfinder 2023 review: Can the new eight-seat family SUV keep the Hyundai Palisade at bay?
It's been a long time since the Nissan Pathfinder shifted from a rugged off-road ute-based wagon into a family SUV. But the new-generation 2023 Pathfinder builds on that in a big way.
The old Pathfinder was a competitor to the likes of the Toyota Kluger, Mazda CX-9, Kia Sorento and Hyundai Santa Fe, and while this one will also rival those models, it is more aligned with another eight-seat SUV - the Hyundai Palisade.
Thankfully, Nissan has addressed some big criticisms of the previous model - notably on-road dynamics, safety gear, onboard technology and exterior design.
But given the Pathfinder hasn’t been available since the old model sold out two years ago, have buyers forgotten that it exists, or will the new model serve as a timely reminder?
