How to Ping in Valorant - Ping Without Opening Map
In this video I show you how to ping in Valorant. You can ping in Valorant by pressing Z on your keyboard. The ping will be placed where you are aiming, allowing you to ping without opening map.
If you have changed your ping keybind then you will need to press the button that you have assigned to the ping button. Additionally, you can also set pings using the ping wheel options. If you are using the ping wheel then you can set more detailed pings to ensure your teammates know what the ping means. In order to use the ping wheel you must hold down your ping button. After which, the ping wheel will appear allowing you to select the ping option you want.
To select an option from the ping wheel you will need to select the type of ping you want before releasing the ping button. This will add your selected ping to the spot that you’re looking at, and show up on the map for your teammates.
You can also set unique keybinds for each ping type. This allows you to quickly mark based on the information you’re trying to provide to your teammates, rather than needing to use the ping wheel.
