I make this video as a response to someone’s comment in one of my previous videos, asking me to compare the Fuji X-S20 vs the Sony A6700. Mind you, this is not a spec-wise comparison, rather, it is a comparison from a long-term Sony A6700 user’s point of view. If you need to know the spec comparison, I will put the links for the specs of each camera discussed in this video in the description below. Also, I will mention the specs of the cameras when I compare them as well.

I am basing this video mainly on the build quality, photos, and videos. I want the viewers to understand if you need a 6K video recording device, the Fuji XS20 is the only camera that can do it at its price point. So, let us talk about the rest.

I’ve used Fuji X-T4 for about 3 years and I will add some points about that in this video as well. Of course, the X-T4’s body style is completely different from the X-S20’s body style catering for a set of users. But there are some things I wish the Fujifilm X-S20 inherited from the X-T4.

For the verdict, I like both the cameras and you will not go wrong buying either of them. The reasons to choose Sony A6700 over Fujifilm XS20 are better Autofocus in photos and videos, 4K 120FPS SLog3 video recording option, faster ON-to-Shoot time, or the Start-up time, Lighter native lenses, huge 3rd party lens support, and upgradability to Fullframe cameras in the future. The reasons to choose the FujiXS20 over the Sony A6700 are the film simulation, 6K up to 30FPS in 10-bit internal recording option, 6K up to 30FPS in 12-bit external raw/ pro-res raw recording option, better monitor resolution, joystick, 16-bit raw photo capture, and higher shutter-speed shooting option in electronic shutter mode - up to 1/32000 of a second.
