For the past three decades, NovaTech Process Solutions has been making electric utilities and process manufacturing industries around the world more reliable and efficient, more sustainable, and more secure.
NovaTech does process automation in several different types of industries, brewing, chemical, plastics, nuclear.
Regardless of the industry, what may be cutting edge today will inevitably give way to new technology. But what doesn't change is NovaTech's creativity in adapting new technology to better serve its customers. A good example of that kind of innovative spirit is NovaTech's partnership with Phoenix Contact.
I started working with Phoenix about five, six years ago. And I sort of fell in love with the product 'cause it's high quality, doesn't break, and they have what I need.
One of the changes in technology eagarly embraced by NovaTech was replacing passive diodes with Pheonix Contact's ORING modules.
Before the ORING module came out I was using your passive diode, which doesn't load share. Either one supply is good and if that goes bad it switches to the other. Then when the ORING diode came out, immediately I liked that they caused load shares. Which means if you're drawing 20 amps, it'll draw 10 from each supply and the supplies last a lot longer. Plus for troubleshooting you can walk by the cabinet and see the lights if one is gone or broken.
Another reason for NovaTech's confidence in products like the ORING module, good old-fashioned reliability.
They don't break in the field. Phoenix supplies, that's one reason why I've sticked with 'em. Once you put 'em in very few failures. So all of a sudden you don't have to call the electrician at two in the morning to go change it.
