A short film for a final submission of a university project based on the themes of Oscar Wilde's 'The Picture of Dorian Gray', and the reflection of one's true soul as a consequence of vanity.
For the project, I had deconstructed and re-constructed a synthetic wig, which included making a tall wire hair frame, several synthetic wefts, and ventilating hair by hair on a lace front.
Several bespoke silicon prosthetic pieces were used to make the cracked effects on the face and chest, as well as an over all gloss on the skin for a porcelain appearance.
Although I am pleased with this outcome, I'm still learning! I am well aware of small flaws on prosthetics and the glue on the hair lace! However, I've still got a long way to go!
