The title, Ispissimus, is the highest to which one may attain, and it implies that you are a god on earth. Few people take this title, even within the ego-maniacal world of satanism. Aquino did, and has emerged as the most articulate spokesman for the satanic movement today.
Aquino claims to have had visions of Set, and to have been anointed as a kind of "prophet" to continue the path begun by Aliester Crowley prior to the latters death in 1947. Given this man's credentials was necessary to show his authority to speak on the subject of Set.
Aquino has written that Set is the oldest formulation of the being called Satan, the embodiment of the sense of alienation and loneliness which man feels from the universe. Man, Aquino claims, is in a unique state of separateness from the rest of creation and feels terribly alone. Set represents that reality of man's fractured relationship with his universe. That is a limited, but workable secular definition of "sin".

According to this book, 'History of Freemasonry and Concordian Orde' written in 1891, by various 33 and 32 degree Freemasons, states on p. 49, "This star (my note, the Pentagram) represents good when represented with one point upward; but when turned with one point down it represents evil; all that is opposed to the good, pure and virtuous."
