Hotshot speed bumps! The Agricultural stations are out dated?
If you have spent any time behind the wheel you have gone through these a lot in and out of states like Florida. A long time ago they were designed to keep insects from moving in trucks from state to state, but now are they really necessary? I am sure the states will say "Absolutely", but the fuel used to accelerate after each stop is not worth the hunt for a bug dug in to a piece of fruit they are not likely to find anyway. Weigh stations have gone to "Weigh in motion" to save fuel and reduce the pollution caused by Diesel engine getting back to speed where they are the least detriment to the air.
