Over 5 years ago back in November of 2018 I closed on my first rental property. Over the life of owning this property I've had tenants come and go. I changed from a long term rental to a short term rental. Rents appreciated, the asset itself appreciated, I refinanced and I pulled out a HELOC.
It's no secret that investing in real estate is a powerful way to build wealth for yourself and build passive income. HOWEVER I don't think that the social media influencers or online real estate gurus that you see on a regular basis tell you the TRUTH about investing in Real Estate.
