My eighth devlog of my first python game using pygame! We are started building a hexagonal tile system, because hexagons are bestagons! Now we are implementing ray casting (or ray tracing, if you will) to work with our hexagonal tiles to detect land and water tiles. This turned out to be more complicated as expected but here are some resources that helped me figuring this out:
