Odoo Development Tutorial: Showing Product Quantity in POS
This video shows how to create a module for Odoo 17 that shows available quantity on each product in POS screen.
There are several factors to consider when developing this Odoo module.
These include Python codes that will run on the server, Javascript codes that will run on the browser,
XML templates that will modify the UI functionality, and CSS to enhance the visual appearance.
In this video, I will be showing the following:
1. Extending Python class PosSession to allow additional fields to be sent to POS app.
2. Extendind Javascript class PosStore to store the additional fields.
3. Extending OWL components to display the data from the fields, in this case the product quantity.
