Host of the nationally syndicated 'Grateful Dead Hour' David Gans caught up with L4LM's own Michael Broerman and Andrew Carter to talk about his new book 'Improvised Lives Grateful Dead 1972–1985'. The collection of previously unreleased photos from Gans' personal archives captures the Band Beyond Description at some of their most intimate, showing a side of the band fans have seldom seen, afforded to Gans by a relationship built with the Dead as a music journalist.
