Broken Rock is a VR narrative experience produced over the course of over a year at Ringling College of Art and Design. As part of a team of four I worked to develop my initial pitch, and developed this VR project from pre-production through final polish. Broken Rock is a story about a man named Jed Russo, who ventures into the Broken Rock caverns in search of his estranged daughter. Once he is inside the cave he is confronted by his past trauma and is forced to relive certain moments from his life. Broken Rock is a psychological VR experience featuring a stylized aesthetic. Special thanks to my team, Joseph Janssen, Justin Nam, and Xavier Rodriguez for helping me turn my simple idea for a VR game into a reality. Another round of thanks to the VR development faculty at Ringling College of Art and Design for their continued mentorship and support!
