WestJet's new Premium Economy product is a first-class-like experience but without the hefty price tag! The airline started installing these seats on its 737 fleet back in 2019, replacing the previous Euro-style Premium that had 3 Economy seats with the middle seat blocked off.

Based in Calgary, Alberta, WestJet is Canada's second-largest airline, operating around 800 flights and 70,000 passengers daily. Although the airline serves every province in Canada, its presence in the East is limited, especially in the Maritimes.

I had a wonderful experience flying home after spending the weekend in Winnipeg. I booked this flight only 23 hours before, and the two flights between Winnipeg-Toronto and Toronto-Fort Lauderdale cost only $ 701 total. The lunch meal was delicious and high-quality, and the crew members were friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend WestJet over Air Canada if the routes and pricing work for you, as the passenger experience is just better.
