In this video, we will show how to use static routes to route network traffic through a main or primary network path. If the main path goes down, then a backup network path will be activated and used to route network traffic. Once the main or primary path is restored, then the network traffic will resume being routed through it and the backup route will become inactive. The implementation of this scenario relies on the use of the administrative distance assigned for each route, as you can see through this video.
