At the end of the Second World War, as lands were liberated from German occupation many women greatly feared the liberators and Soviet forces. They had a reputation for committing terrible crimes against women and this occurred inside of Poland and there was a huge amount of terrifying ordeals inflicted onto young women inside of the nation. Some people even wrote to Stalin to try to get him to intervene, but the horror continued.
