HURRICANE ALERT: Gov. McKee Advises Public that Dangerous Rip Currents Expected from Hurricane Lee
Governor Dan McKee and the RI Department of Environmental Management (DEM) advise the public to exercise caution along shoreline areas Wednesday 9/13, through Sunday 9/17 due to anticipated dangerous rip currents and high surf as Hurricane Lee approaches Southern New England. The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a high rip current risk advisory for Southern New England.
