This is particularly interesting if you’re gaming on your desktop pc or gaming laptop as a faster monitor can give you less stutter and better experience if your video card or graphics card is fast enough to display as many frames. In my example, I was able to overclock a 60hz monitor to 70hz and another monitor to 75hz and the difference was quite noticeable both in games and in desktop.

This method Is possible in both NVidia GeForce graphics cards and graphics cards from AMD Radeon, and you reach these settings through either the NVidia control panel or AMD Radeon software. The limitation in the panel and in the circuit board will tell you how high your monitor can overclock and every monitor overclocks differently.
