Learn HTML code: navigation tag
The nav tag is a semantic tag. It doesn't change the appearance of the page in any way. It only tells text reading software where your navigation is located. This lets software such as search engines know that this is not the main part of the page. Even though, it isn't seen by the end user, it is still a good idea to use this tag anyway.
