They held a memorial service today for my friend and mentor Troy A. Gustafson so I thought I'd post a timelapse of my latest 2D Smoke FX; work that would not be possible without his kind and blunt instruction over the years. I'm nowhere near his level and I'm sure if he saw this he'd critique it by starting with his trademarked "What the hell is that?" and I miss him.
