Following the intense rescue mission of 11 big cats from the conflict zone in Sudan, these majestic lions are now thriving in their spacious, species-appropriate enclosure at their new home in South Africa.
Since their arrival at our LIONSROCK Big Cat Sanctuary in February, the lions have made remarkable progress. From sunup to sundown, they can be found frolicking, chasing each other, and playfully wrestling. Their transformation is truly heartwarming.
Thanks to the tireless efforts of our experienced rescue team and the dedicated care of the LIONSROCK staff, these lions can now enjoy a life of peace, free from the traumas of their past.
