Dog Found with Mouth Wired Shut Sees Incredible Rescue Transformation | FOUR PAWS USA

Meet #dog Kasper! This sweet pup is only 2 years old, but has endured unimaginable trauma in this short time.
Earlier this year, volunteers reached out to our partner, Doctor Vet Moldova, seeking urgent help for a desperate dog. With a wire tightly bound around his mouth, Kasper was found far from Chisinau, prompting a swift rescue mission.
Vlad and Stepan from Doctor Vet Moldova raced to the scene and, after weeks of failed attempts by the volunteers, successfully sedated Kasper to save him from his torment. Despite complications, including respiratory arrest, our dedicated team revived him through artificial respiration – knowing that he deserved a second chance at life!
At our partner clinic, Kasper underwent immediate treatment. While scars from the wire remain visible, his remarkable recovery astounded us. Further examinations revealed issues with his heart, liver, and an old paw fracture, suggesting a painful past. It is incredible to think about how much he must have suffered, only able to open his mouth just enough to feed and breathe.
Throughout his ordeal, Kasper's spirit remained unbroken. Despite his past, he adores attention, playtime, and walks with people and other dogs. As long as he is surrounded by people and other dogs, he is the happiest fellow in the world!
