How to Export STL from Maya When The Format Option Doesn't Show Up
Go for the Plug-in Manager.
If you do these steps and you still cannot find it then the solution could require either:
A- Restart Maya
or B- Restart the computer
or C- Re-installation of Maya
Unless you have a tech savvy friend that can offer a better solution
