Mojo🔥 SDK v0.7 introduces a new Reference type (prototype) as a safe alternative to unsafe pointers. References have the same in-memory representation as Mojo pointers but also track a “lifetime” value so the compiler can reason about a potentially accessed set of values. In this video Laszlo Kindrat discusses lifetime support in Mojo and share a short demo on how to use the new Reference type.
