Growing Girls' Golf! 🏌️♀️
As part of Scottish Women and Girls in Sport Week, we are reflecting back on the success of one of our pilot girls' participation programmes, which ran earlier this year 🏌️♀️
Ahead of the 2024 golf season, the Girls' Winter Golf Programme was run in collaboration with The R&A and other Home Nations, including Wales Golf and Golf Ireland.
Our mission was to get young, junior, female golfers from a beginner level to a handicap level, and playing on-course for the summertime ⛳
20 girls joined the programme, which was held over several weeks during the winter and spring months at Dunfermline Golf Club.
