This was a test of PCSX2 emulator on my base model M1 MacBook Air with 7 cores of GPU and 8GB of Unified Memory
This version of the emulator is still running through Rosetta 2 translation layer!

All screen recording was using built-in recorder in MacOS with Blackhole audio driver to capture the sound alongside the video.
Notes on this emulator:
I think this emulator runs very well with the M1 chip but we have to use Metal backend renderer so we can get the most out of it. I ran this game and already completed this game using this nightly version of this emulator and I had no issues whatsoever with it.
I can also play at 1440p with no issues at all but I was using a 1080p monitor to record this video.
playing in 4K resolution gives little dips here and there but it’s still playable.
