Mary is no stranger to extreme weather. “This is the Midwest,” she says, “so tornadoes are very common in the early spring.” So she and her family knew what to do when a tornado touched down just south of town.
“During the storm, my family and I were in the basement,” she says, “watching the Ring Camera footage via the Live function.”
“I was amazed by how beautiful it was,” she says. “We were having a lightning storm at the same time the tornado was forming. It was really amazing to witness nature using two of its most powerful tools of destruction at the same time.”
