Daniel doesn’t get a lot of snow where he lives, so when his toddler saw snow for the first time he made the most of it.
“It was way past my daughter’s bedtime,” he says, “but at two years old this was her first real snow.” So Daniel figured that bedtime was less important than the opportunity to make a snowman with her dad.
“We had the best time,” he says. “I cannot express how happy I am that we weren’t ‘sensible’ and said anything like, ‘we can play in the morning,’ because by the morning all the snow had either gone or turned to slush because of rain!”
