I am Lavrov, Vladimir Vasilyevich, a beekeeper with great experience, every year in early March, after a mass flyby, I inspect bee colonies. As a rule, after a massive spring flight, the uterus begins to lay eggs intensively. Up to this point, if families do not interfere with them, there may be brood, but there is usually not much of it. It is ok. Many amateur beekeepers (including me once) try to provide families with special food based on kandy and pollen before the flyover, with the expectation that bee colonies will become more active, the number of broods will increase. You can do that, and I did it. But, having practiced this method for more than one year, I realized that there is little benefit from such work. The fact is that if there is a large amount of brood in families before the flyby, then such families can quickly "sink" over time. As a result, when it comes time for intensive reproduction, the bee family does not have enough working resources, and the family slows down growth. In this case, the "royal jelly feeding" factor acts. Old Perezimov
