Palma, often called Palma de Mallorca - the main city and port of the Spanish autonomous community of the Balearic Islands. Situated in the Bay of Palma on the island of Mallorca, 20 km wide and 25 km long. A major tourist center. In 2012, the population was 407,648, with the suburbs - 474,035. In 2017, the population was 406,492.
