In this Blender tutorial, we have discussed how to create a data comparison video where each data column is constructed from a group of falling plates or pieces. You can simply use an Excel file to keep your data, Blender will automatically create the video from that Excel file. You can also use a CSV file which is easier to handle. Please watch the video for the complete tutorial. If you have any question on this tutorial, please leave your comment below.

Create a folder called C:\MyTest on your computer (if you use another folder location, you need to change this name in our script). You have to keep 3 things within this folder: One excel file or CSV file containing your data (use your own or download our sample file from https://bit.ly/5mbSampleExcelFile), a font file (download from https://bit.ly/5mbarialbdfont) and a subfolder called Pictures that should contain all your pictures or logo files. Now open Blender and run the following script, then render the video from Blender.
𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭: 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭 𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐁𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥 𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐞. 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐮𝐧 𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 👉 https://bit.ly/5mbexcel2blender
𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐫: If the first script does not run correctly, you'll get an error in the second script (like "Module Not Found" error). The most common source of this error is insufficient access on your device, so it is advisable to execute this script from an admin account on your machine. If the error still persists, I suggest you to use the portable version of Blender (follow the steps given here 👉 https://bit.ly/5mbexcelscripterror). Or you can skip this step and use the CSV version of our script given below.
𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭 (𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧): 𝐈𝐭 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐚 𝐬𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐩 👉 https://bit.ly/5mbExcelSPscript
𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭 (𝐂𝐒𝐕 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧): 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥 𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐚𝐥𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐬 (e.g. change Zürich to Zurich) & 𝐒𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥 𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐂𝐒𝐕 𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭 👉 https://bit.ly/5mbCSVSPscript It is recommended if you are getting errors in running the above script. In this script, you need to mention the CSV file path instead of Excel, and all other things remain the same.
