In this Blender tutorial, we have discussed how to create a data comparison video where each data column is constructed from a group of falling plates or pieces. You can simply use an Excel file to keep your data, Blender will automatically create the video from that Excel file. You can also use a CSV file which is easier to handle. 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭:

Create a folder called C:\MyTest on your computer (if you use another folder location, you need to change this name in our script). You have to keep 3 things within this folder: One excel file or CSV file containing your data (use your own or download our sample file from https://bit.ly/5mbSampleExcelFile), a font file (download from https://bit.ly/5mbarialbdfont) and a subfolder called Pictures that should contain all your pictures or logo files. Now open Blender and run the following script, then render the video from Blender.

𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐫: If the first script does not run correctly, you'll get an error in the second script (like "Module Not Found" error). The most common source of this error is insufficient access on your device, so it is advisable to execute this script from an admin account on your machine. If the error still persists, I suggest you to use the portable version of Blender (follow the steps given here 👉 https://bit.ly/5mbexcelscripterror). Or you can skip this step and use the CSV version of our script given below.
