Easy Methods to Brighten Video in After Effects

This tutorial shows you two simple ways to brighten clips (footage, video, etc.) in After Effects.

The first way is to apply the Auto Levels effect to a clip. The second method to brighten a clip in After Effects is to apply the Curves effect. In the Effects Control panel you’ll then select the middle of the Curves graph and pull it slightly up and to the left.
