How to Turn Off Facebook Live Notifications
When Facebook rolls out new features, they seem to love ignoring your default settings and toggling every notification to a loud “on” setting. Facebook Live is one of the newest features, and if you’re sick of getting a notification every time a friends decides to live video their drive through traffic, here’s how to turn them off.
Click the drop-down arrow in the far right
Click Notifications
Click “On Facebook”
Under the Live Videos settings, set the toggle to “All Off.”
That’s it, you’ll stop getting the notifications for live video, so you can return to your quiet life. While you’re in there, go ahead and make sure everything else you don’t want to get notifications for are all set to off as well.
