I lost my cousin Amanda, my best friend two weeks ago.
My heart is so broken, she was only 17 and had a huge life ahead of her. I keep telling myself this is a dream or a nightmare that keeps going on and on. I love Amanda so much with my entire heart. Me and my twin sister had such a hard time making friends growing up and she was always there for us. I remember the first sleepover we ever had, and Mandy was so excited for me to sleep in her room and play dolls with her for hours and hours. As I was going into high school, I struggled so much with anxiety and bullying and she went from my little cousin too my forever best friend. We would talk for hours over FaceTime, play video games, have sleepovers with my twin sister Sarah and her brother Ryan. She taught me how to do my makeup properly, never judged my style but always told me what looks good on me and how to be confident. She even helped me so much with my YouTube channel, and was one of the main reasons I started it.
I can’t ever explain the bond I had with her, it was like no other. I never saw her as just my little cousin, she was a sister to me. I have no idea how I'll be able to move on from this, in my heart I've been feeling her presence around me and it's keeping me strong. She always told me I brought out a good side in her, and how happy she is that I'm doing good in life with college and personal life things. I love you so much Amanda, Mandy, LdMandy, My Best Friend. I'll miss you forever, you will always be my best friend. No one will ever replace that 💗💗
