Dremio Cloud Tour: A Look at the Sonar UI - #3
Welcome to the third installment of our tour of Dremio Cloud. In this video, we take a deep dive into the Sonar UI and the many features it offers.
For those unfamiliar with it, Sonar is a Data Lakehouse offering from Dremio Cloud that enables users to quickly and easily explore and analyze data. Combining the power of a Data Warehouse with the scalability of a Data Lake Engine, Sonar is an ideal solution for businesses looking to gain insights from their data.
The Sonar UI provides users with an intuitive dashboard that makes it easy to manage, explore, and analyze their data. The interface is designed for both technical and non-technical users alike, allowing everyone in an organization to get involved in the data exploration process.
Once you've logged into your Sonar account, you will be presented with the main dashboard. Here you can view all of your projects and datasets in one place. You can also select different views such as Datasets & Files or Visualizations & Dashboards for deeper insights into your data.
From here you can easily create new projects or datasets by simply dragging and dropping files from your computer or cloud storage services like Dropbox or Google Drive into your project folder. Once imported, you can cleanse and transform your data using a variety of tools such as filters, joins, aggregations, etc., all within the same interface.
The UI also provides access to powerful analytics tools like Machine Learning (ML) algorithms which allow users to quickly train models on their dataset without having to write any code themselves. This helps organizations uncover insights they may not have been able to find on their own before.
Finally, once you're happy with your results you can share them with colleagues or publish them directly to external services like Tableau or PowerBI for further visualization and analysis.
