If you find someone collapsed, you should first perform a primary survey. If it shows that they are unresponsive but breathing, then you can place them in the recovery position.

The recovery position is the safest position to put a casualty in when they are breathing normally, but not responding to you. The recovery position helps maintain the casualty’s airway until emergency help arrives.
