The original meaning of the 10,000 hours rule was that it takes 10,000 hours to achieve world-class status in an advanced field.
But the media has really abused this idea, especially when it comes to learning to code. They've changed it and made it seem like it takes 10,000 hours to be just be any good at all.
You don't need an endless amount of hours in order to become good enough at coding to change your life.
In fact, the only hour that matters is the one in which you're currently coding.
This year, #DontCountTheHours. Just get coding.
