This week we are taking a look at Portal 2, perhaps one of the best puzzle platformers in existence. Drawing from an award-winning formula of innovative gameplay, music, and storytelling Portal 2 is a game that will be replayed, studied, and remembered for years to come. This week we will be taking a look at the elements that come together to make Portal 2 so successful, then taking extra time to discuss and ideate how we would turn this masterpiece into a full-fledged VR title. We have two professional guests joining us this week: For her first appearance on our podcast, we have Ana Carolina Pereira, who you might recognize from her many appearances creating 3D art on Pixologic live streams. Ana Is an amazing artist and talented VR developer, she is also one of my team's professors at Ringling College of Art and Design. Our second guest, who is returning for a second appearance on our show, is David Dannelly, another one of our professors at Ringling. David is an exceptional programmer and 3D artist. He is also a huge fan of the Half-Life and Portal series of games.
