(MUSE) KILL OR BE KILLED MAP- Knoxyl- Draconiclight part
Wowza, after months of not being able to work on this due to personal roadblocks, other projects, and life hell, its done- My Kill or Be Killed MAP part for Knoxyl! Id never done one of these before, and seeing its Muse, I immediately jumped on this because why not. Dusted out a nasty catboy I havent drawn in ages, and went straight for it.
Looking back, there is so much I can improve- Anatomy, movement, and SPECIALLY backgrounds, but there comes a time when perfectionism becomes a poison rather than a help, and you just gotta let go and be able to let yourself finish something, even if your skills aint up to the place you wanted them yet. I learnt so much though, and while it does show in quite a few places how much I struggled to get through mental health issues regarding drawing while doing this (Ex: those lines...) finnaly being able to overcome them after over a year of struggle means so much to me.
In the end, to not drag a description onto english major lenghths, heres what I learnt:
TVPaint has so many awesome tools to exploit but Ive yet to master
Backgrounds are awesome, I wish I had more time
Dont spend 2 months on lining.
Be kind to yourself- You aint gonna get shit done if you constantly degrade what you see infront of you
