Which GPU Is Best For 1440p 144hz Gaming? If you want to play competitive shooters like apex, pubg, fortnite, valorant, and others, you can get 144 fps at 1440p with an rx 6650 xt or an rtx 3060 ti on medium to high settings. Even with an RTX 3060 or an RX 6600, you can achieve 144fps in many popular competitive shooters, but you'll have to dial back the settings in games like Apex and Fortnite!

Now If you want to play 1440p at 144 frames per second in more demanding triple-A titles, you'll need to upgrade to an rx 6700 xt, 6750xt, or rtx 3070. The good news is that the 6750 xt costs "only" 380 dollars, whereas the most affordable rtx 3070 costs 591 dollars. These cards will allow you to play triple-A games at 144fps, but you will still need to fiddle with the settings a little, if you want to be able to max out your game at 1440p and get 144fps plus, you going to have to go for something like an rtx 3090 ti, or the rtx 4070 ti to get that silky smooth framerate.
