A crowd gathered at the Eastcliff governor's mansion in St. Paul, Minnesota as the second-term Minnesota governor left for Philadelphia to join Vice President Kamala Harris on the campaign trail. Walz was announced Tuesday morning as Harris’ vice presidential choice in her presidential campaign.
