My journey to Tashkent, Uzbekistan by plane with Uzbekistan Airways. I visited the Plov Center, saw a huge cauldron, and explored the Tashkent market, not only walking through the stalls that sell everything but also checking out the market area where they prepare plov and other foods. I walked around the city and reviewed Tashkent airport before my return flight.

The video starts at Vnukovo Airport, where I arrived by bus. I saw a Pobeda Airlines flight to Tyumen take off. I went through check-in and received a window seat boarding pass. I showed how I passed through the border and customs. Next, I was in the clean zone of Vnukovo's international sector. I watched the airport's crossroads and observed take-offs and landings. A SCAT Airlines Boeing 737 from Shymkent, Kazakhstan, landed. I also saw a Yak-40 from Vologda Aviation Enterprise heading to Vologda. On the day of my flight, two runways were operating simultaneously, which was unusual because, in my experience, planes typically do not land on two runways at the same time.

My flight to Tashkent was on a Boeing 767-300ER, a new type for me. The plane arrived on time. While waiting for boarding, four Uzbekistan Airways planes appeared on the tarmac. A major evening departure from Moscow to Uzbekistan. Boarding was on time, and as I passed through the business class, I noted the strange cabin configuration, but the economy class was very comfortable. The cabin layout was luxurious, with one more seat than many other charter airlines. During taxiing, I saw an Azur Air BlackJet 757-200 with an all-business-class cabin. It frequently flies to Bodrum, Turkey, but I read there are also flights to the Maldives.

During take-off near the government terminal Vnukovo-2, I noticed several interesting planes: the President of Turkmenistan, the Prime Minister of Armenia, and the Presidents of Belarus and Tajikistan.

After take-off, food was served, and I was surprised by the volume of food served in economy class on Uzbekistan Airways flights. However, the meal was sparse but filling, appropriate for a 4-hour flight. Late at night, the plane arrived at Tashkent South Airport. I passed the border in 15 minutes and took a taxi to the hotel using Yandex, with a foreign bank card.

For my stay in Tashkent, I chose the Unique Hotel. I booked through the MTS service in rubles because it had the lowest price, and they offered free roaming during booking, which was a nice bonus. I exchanged money at a city center exchange office in Tashkent, as airport exchanges are only available during the day.

In Tashkent, I visited the Central Asian Plov Center, saw huge cauldrons, and the permanent plov factory. I also explored the Tashkent metro and, of course, the market, known as the "Heart of Tashkent." I moved around the city, including using taxis because they are affordable.

On my return journey, I saw the capsule hotel at Tashkent airport, convenient for transit passengers flying to the US or Asia. My return flight to Moscow was on the same plane I arrived in Tashkent.

Thank you very much for watching my videos. The videos were shot on iPhone & GoPro9 and edited personally in FinalCut. I bought the ticket for the Uzbekistan Airways flight on the airline's website using a MIR card in rubles.
