Many of you have asked me how you can sync audio with video in post-production, in order to improve the quality of your drum covers. I'm sure you've all seen covers done where the song is playing loudly through a speaker system, and how it can affect the overall sound.

Well, this one's for those of you who're wondering how it's done! This video in particular is aimed at a Mac computer with the free software iMovie, however the same could be applied to any operating system and most post-production video editing softwares.

The next step would be to cover how you do it once you've got the equipment to record your drums separately. How to record, hear the music, and have all three parts in sync: drums, music and video. I know many of you are wondering about this as well, so it's something we might cover soon!
