Once you have identified that there your valve is damaged, begin by removing the damaged WingLock Valve.
Removal:
1. Open the valve wings.
2. Firmly grab the base and begin to pull the wings and valve away from the pad.
3. With consistent directional force, the valve will come free.
Once you have removed the damaged valve, install a new one.
Installation:
1. Clean the valve seat thoroughly
2. Inspect the O-ring to ensure that it is properly seated. Put a light layer of lubricant on the O-ring.
3. Carefully push and twist the new valve into the base until it is fully seated.
Test the integrity of your repair by allowing your pad to sit fully inflated overnight. If there is no loss of air pressure, you are ready for your next adventure.
