Practical application:
In the construction of buildings on permafrost, there is a risk of ground melting under the thermal influence of buildings, foundations, pipelines and any other facility that is located on the frozen ground. As a result of ground melting, the disasters such as damaged pipelines and buildings may occur. Knowing the temperature distribution in the ground, it is possible to predict the ground subsidence, frost heave, bearing capacity of structures.
