How to replace Magnetron / S-BAND RADAR / JRC JMA-1932-SA / step by step procedure / Part 1.
This video is to share my experience on the replacement of our S-band radar magnetron. Step by step procedure on dismantling old magnetron and installing new spare. Our radar magnetron was overdue more than twice of it's service life. When i came onboard the Captain and Chief officer ask me to replace it. The normal service life of magnetron is 4,000hrs for JRC radar. What is service life or running hour of magnetron in your radar aside from JRC maker? Please leave it in comment below. Thank you.
