Eugene Lawrence from Gauteng, South Africa, is a rotary fanatic and has spent years chasing the dream of building a rotary bakkie.
But the build presented loads of challenges along the way. The RX-8's rear suicide doors was a difficult problem to solve but as you'll see in the video, he's done an amazing job of converting the RX-8 coupe into a bakkie.
Under the bonnet, a three-rotor motor is strapped to a massive turbo, and the engine produces big power, 400kW when conservatively tuned.
