Dunwich Dynamo 2012 (DDXX - 20th Anniversary)
On the 30th June 2012, about 1500 cyclists set off from outside The Pub In The Park, London Fields, Hackney, London and headed through the Essex and Suffolk countryside, throughout the night, on a 120 mile ride to the small village of Dunwich.
This year was the 20th anniversary of the Dunwich Dynamo, or DunRun.

I strapped a GoPro to my handlebars and set it up to take a photo every 5 seconds. I ended up with about 7002 images, which I used Photoshop to resize down to 1080p then used QuickTime to convert to an image sequence movie. I then imported into Premiere and added titles and a touch of colour grading (mainly to lighten the darker sections).
I didn't notice that the first battery had run out which is why it jumps from darkness to the sun being up quite a bit. I had quite a busy Friday & Saturday (due to being rear-ended by a taxi, damaging my wheel beyond repair) running around finding a replacement and the incredible @vinnydelgardo giving me a Campag Zonda he had spare. (Oh the power of Twitter and the wider social media!), so I wasn't focused enough to remember to fully charge all my batteries for the camera, which is why it ran out about 2 miles from Dunwich beach.
Sorry about the CatEye light being in the bottom left of the film for the first half. I have moved the light so its now upside down and future night rides will not be plagued by such annoyances!
