In this video, we will explore the common types of capacitors that can be
used in an analog circuit before a signal is captured and converted to
digital. We will investigate MLCC (Class I and II), electrolytic (aluminum
and tantalum) and film capacitors. We will give a basic overview of the
structure of each type, then discuss relative pricing, performance, and the
required extra compensation for each.
